Kieren King Presents…

Above The Jyrojets video for their single “Hollywood Hold On”. It was my first – and last – proper acting gig as “Angry Customer No1”. Red shirt, unshaven, bad actor.

I am a twentysomething Mancunian writer. I quit my day job to concentrate on writing full-time. Risky? Yes, but what is life without risk?

I know that it is rare in the extreme for a writer to get their first book published so I have no expectations. I just don’t want to be old looking back on my life with regrets about what I should have done. Whilst I have time and no children or commitments that depend on me I am going to give this a real shot.

I have only been using Twitter properly since the start of May and I love the community, meeting like minded people, sharing witticisms and insights. I have met so many wonderful people already and hopefully they would say the same about me. I have become something of a tweet addict on all kinds of subjects, particularly films, music and the successes and failures I am having whilst attempting to become a published author.

If you want to follow me on Twitter, listen to my Blip FM playlist or check out my writing blog please follow the links below:

A sample of the book is at the following address – but be warned it is the first draft and by no means the finished article.

Go on have a gander.

    • My mate is a music video director, got a phone call one Saturday morning because none of his actors had turned up and he needed me to fill in. The jobs didn’t exactly come flying in after though 🙂
